Built on experience from both sides of the process

I'm Shane Jamison, a baseball coach based in Bellingham, Washington. My experience spans three summers coaching 18u with Cascade Baseball Club, one summer with 15u at City Baseball, and two years as an assistant coach at Skagit Valley College in the NWAC. Before coaching I played JUCO baseball, transferred to a D1 program, and later transferred to D2 — so when I talk to a player about what those levels actually look like, I'm speaking from experience, not assumption.

Jamison Baseball Consulting exists because that process matters and most families are navigating it blind. I work with high school players preparing for college baseball and junior college players ready to take the next step. I have relationships at every level — JUCO, NAIA, D3, D2, and D1 — and I only take players I genuinely believe can play.

Every athlete starts with an in-person evaluation. I'll throw you BP, hit you fungos, and watch you work. If I think you have a real path at the next level, we'll build it together. If I don't, I'll tell you that too.

Real placement.
Honest guidance.

College placement across all levels — JUCO, NAIA, D3, D2, and D1. On-field evaluation, recruiting guidance, and honest communication throughout the entire process.

01

On-Field Evaluation

Every player is evaluated in person. BP, fungos, bullpen — I see you play before we talk about anything else.

02

College Placement

I make calls to coaches I actually know across JUCO, NAIA, D3, D2, and D1. Relationships built over years in the game.

03

JUCO Transfers

For junior college players ready to move on, I understand that transition from both sides and have the relationships to make it happen.

04

Recruiting Guidance

Honest communication throughout the entire process. You'll always know where things stand.

How it works

1

In-Person Evaluation

Every athlete starts with an in-person workout in Bellingham, Washington. I'll throw you BP, hit you fungos, and watch you work. No shortcuts.

2

Honest Assessment

If I think you have a real path at the next level, we'll build it together. If I don't, I'll tell you that too. I only work with players I genuinely believe can play.

3

Finding the Right Fit

I'm making calls and finding the right fit — not just any fit. Placement takes time and looks different for every player.

4

Placement

You'll never be left wondering where things stand. Clear communication from evaluation through signing.

Three ways to work together

Every player's situation is different. Choose the level of involvement that fits where you are in the process.

Foundation

$200

One-time

One in-person meeting and a follow-up call. We cover how recruiting actually works, what coaches are looking for, and what you should be looking for in a program.

I'll build you a tailored list of schools that match your ability level, values, and goals.

Active Recruiting

$150/mo

3-month minimum

Monthly meetings plus unlimited text access — ask me anything, anytime. I act as your guide through the entire process.

I help you navigate social media, sharpen your communication with coaches, and prepare you to present yourself the right way. Parents are welcome to reach out directly — this process is confusing and I'm here for the whole family.

Note: At this tier I guide and advise — I do not reach out to coaches directly on your behalf.

Placement

$2,000

Per year

Everything in Active Recruiting, plus I go to work on your behalf. I'm making calls, sending film, and referring you directly to programs where I have real relationships and trust.

When I call a coach about you, they know it means something. I only refer players I genuinely believe in — and the coaches I work with know that.

Serious players.
Real opportunities.

High School Players

Pacific Northwest players serious about playing college baseball who want an honest evaluation and a real path — not just a pitch.

JUCO Players

Junior college players ready to take the next step to a four-year program. I've made that transition myself and know what it takes.
